The Falkland Islands Journal is edited by Jim McAdam, ably supported by an editorial and production team which covers a wide range of disciplines and knowledge of the Falklands.
Scope and coverage
The Journal is an independent academic publication linked to the Museum and National Trust in the Falklands. It has been published annually since 1967 and covers all aspects of the history, natural history, culture, heritage geography and natural environment of the Falkland Islands and associated regions. The Journal does not print articles of an overtly political nature.
Each year the Journal prints the prizewinning and highly commended projects from local schoolchildren participating in the Jane and Alastair Cameron history prize. Annual update reports are presented from the Museum, the Jane Cameron National Archives and the Dictionary of
Falklands Biography. The editor welcomes relevant books for review.

The Journal is formally linked with, and is an official publication of the Historic Dockyard Museum, Stanley ( https://falklands-museum.com ). The Museum Director and Exhibitions Director both sit on the Editorial Committee of the Journal.
